Payment methods

Currently, your donors have the following payment methods

• SEPA direct debit,
• Credit card,
• PayPal and
• Online transfer

available. Your own Paypal account can be easily integrated into the settings, for example, where the billing is then handled directly by your organization. The donor can individually select the payment method in the online donation form. The relevant data for the selected payment method are stored by GRÜN spendino will ask you in the next step. Online transfer or credit card payment can also be offered if an interface to a provider is used.

The transaction fees for online donations by direct debit and bank transfer are listed in our Package prices (except for the Unlimited package) are already included. There are no additional costs for online donations. Please note, however, that external providers may charge transaction fees depending on the payment method you choose.

Yes, we can also integrate your own payment providers for you starting with the Business package. GRÜN spendino currently offers you the standard payment methods direct debit and bank transfer. Optionally, you can offer your donors PayPal, online bank transfer or credit card payments. To do this, you need your own PayPal account, which can be set up in the cockpit of GRÜN spendino is deposited. Just talk to us if you need help.

For online donations, the payout is always made according to the agreement with the desired payment processor. If, however, the direct debits are collected manually, then it is up to you how often you want to initiate a direct debit.

For SMS donations, payment is made for each SMS received during the campaign period that is sent to the charity short number with the agreed password and has been successfully billed. Depending on the donation volume, you will receive an exact invoice six weeks after the end of a calendar month, which is created by the network operator.

Yes, in addition to the one-time donation, you also have the option of making a recurring donation. Donors can choose between monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual payments. These options are ideal for sponsorships.

No, you cannot currently adjust the amount of a current recurring donation in the cockpit. If a donor wants to increase or decrease their amount, you can end the current recurring donation in the spendino cockpit at the touch of a button, and the donor can then easily initiate a new recurring donation according to their wishes using the donation form on your website.
