SAP S / 4 HANA is the successor to the previous ERP software solution SAP ECC from the global software company SAP. It is the fourth product generation that makes databases even faster and more efficient.

In S / 4HANA, documents are only managed and managed in one large table. The data records are created in the data tables in a vertical structure. To simplify the data models, secondary tables have been eliminated in the new system. Database
SAP S / 4HANA is based on an in-memory platform. The digital core ensures flexible and responsive data networking. Data does not have to be loaded into the main memory first, but can be processed in real time.

GRÜN MFplus in S / 4HANA
There are three different approaches to choose from for the actual implementation of S / 4HANA: The Greenfield approach, Brownfield approach and the Bluefield approach (selective data transformation).
Greenfield approach
As part of the Greenfield approach (New Implementation) the company undertakes a complete new installation of the SAP S / 4HANA system. New customizing is carried out and only relevant master data is transferred to the new system without any documents.
Brownfield approach
In the Brownfield approach (System Conversion) the existing SAP system is converted to S / 4HANA. Existing processes, data and individual developments are transferred to the new system. With this approach, there is no complete rebuilding of the system.
Bluefield approach
The Selective data transformation (Bluefield approach) is neither a new implementation nor a system change and thus represents a hybrid approach between the brownfield and greenfield approach. As with the greenfield approach, the SAP S / 4HANA system is reinstalled. Historical data can then be integrated into the new system and thus retained. This enables a flexible redesign of business processes.
