In total, significantly more than 5 million euros were invested in the acquisition and renovation of the property with around 5.000 m² of usable space, in which additional free space is now being offered, to digital companies or companies that want to actively help shape digitization. The office center therefore acts as "GRÜN Software Hub "(www.softwarehub.de) and wants to become a hub for digitization. Tenants can also use the modern infrastructure and thus receive more than just space, cooperation between tenants should also be promoted, for example in projects or in the field of research and development for digitization. The Federal Association IT-Mittelstand eV also sits in GRÜN Software hub. There is now only 1.000 m² of office space available. In addition to classic rental, there are also offers for startups through a co-working space model.
“The Pascalstrasse location is ideal for a software company like us. Digital companies with more than 750 IT workstations come together here within a radius of 2.500 meters, which is why people rightly speak of Aachen's Silicon Valley more often. In any case, the green parks on our site remind me of the real Silicon Valley, where quiet work in the green creates innovations, ”adds Oliver Grün.
