As a non-profit association that operates in Aachen under the patronage of Mayor Marcel Philipp, breakfast4kids is committed to ensuring that school children get a healthy breakfast that would otherwise not have one. To do this, helpers smear and cover hundreds of rolls early in the morning that are delivered to schools from Aachen to Cologne. Exactly 968 children are provided with a lunch break every day by breakfast4kids. “The need is growing all the time,” says Grün, praising the association's commitment.
