Since 1995, the Oskar Patzelt Foundation, as the initiator of the award, has been calling on municipalities and associations to nominate outstanding medium-sized companies from industry, service, trade, handcraft and trade for the competition for the “Grand Medium-sized Prize”. The GRÜN Software AG was awarded this prestigious business award from Federal Association of IT SMEs nominated.
Divided into 12 competition regions, a total of 4.923 companies nationwide were nominated under this year's motto "Respect and Attention", which were evaluated in five competition criteria. Excellent performance in all criteria is required. The criteria include the “overall development of the company”, the “creation / safeguarding of jobs and training positions”, “modernization and innovation”, “commitment in the region” and “service and customer proximity, marketing”.
