From 6 to 8 October 2025, the Austrian fundraising community met again at the Europahaus Vienna for the 32nd time. Austrian Fundraising Congress. The motto “Fundraising Fever! Impact that inspires“ was reflected in numerous lectures, workshops and encounters: passion for effective fundraising, enthusiasm for good ideas and the shared desire to actively shape social change.
A special highlight this year was the celebratory presentation of the Fundraising Awards, which honor outstanding campaigns and projects in the non-profit sector. GRÜN Fundraising Awards in the category "Online campaign of the year“ has been awarded for the 15th time – sponsored by the GRÜN Software Group GmbH and the GRÜN Fundraising Services GmbH. Martin Vierkötter, Managing Director of the fundraising agency GRÜN alpha, presented the award personally at the gala event.
Advent calendar awarded as online campaign of the year
Under the motto “We open doors – neunerhaus Advent Calendar 2024” nine house – Help for the Homeless in the Pre-Christmas Season, a broad online campaign achieved a significant impact with limited resources. A small door opened daily, offering an attractive prize provided by Viennese businesses – a clever combination of local networking, playful elements, and a clear social message.
The campaign raised awareness of homelessness in a friendly way, strengthened awareness of social responsibility, and brought neunerhaus new partners and numerous new donors. The organization used the online donation forms from GRÜN spendino, which were centrally integrated in the Advent calendar and made the donation process particularly simple and mobile-friendly.
