GRÜN eVEWA digitizes the Kreuzbund diocesan association Rottenburg-Stuttgart

The Kreuzbund Diözesanverband Rottenburg-Stuttgart eV relies on online membership management GRÜN eVEWA. Standard processes in member administration have been digitized thanks to eVEWA. Expansion planned to include online seminar management. Thanks to a recommendation, the client version is also in use at Kreuzbünden Essen and Cologne.

Roland Mann is chairman of the Kreuzbund Diocesan Association Rottenburg-Stuttgart eV. The cross collar is a professional association of the German Caritas Association, which as a self-help and helper community offers help for addicts and their relatives. Divided into the dioceses of the Catholic Church, there are currently 27 diocesan associations of the Kreuzbund in Germany. One of these 27 Kreuzbunds is the Kreuzbund Diözesanverband Rottenburg-Stuttgart eV with headquarters in Biberach, which is divided into 85 groups with over 1.000 members.

Membership is managed centrally by the diocesan office. Roland Mann and the other board members run the diocesan office on a voluntary basis. “Due to the increased demands and the increasing number of members, the administration of our members is taking more and more time. The previous free banking software is no longer sufficient. That's why we made the decision to digitize the membership administration in the Kreuzbund Diocesan Association of Rottenburg-Stuttgart," says Mann.

As part of a market exploration, the Online membership management GRÜN eVEWA convince those responsible completely. "GRÜN eVEWA was the most flexible of all the solutions we looked at," says Mann. “Because eVEWA could be precisely adapted to our processes. Digitization of membership management


GRÜN eVEWA has digitized the complete correspondence with the members of the diocesan association. New members receive a welcome letter and the Articles of Incorporation. Whereas these were previously sent manually, eVEWA now manages this process. Men see the greatest advantage in the administration of contributions: “Up to now, the contributions of our members were collected by the group leaders and then transferred to the Diocesan Association of Rottenburg-Stuttgart. Thanks to eVEWA, we can now collect the membership fees directly, which are then booked via Datev”. Men adds: "The automatisms in eVEWA are also very helpful, because members who have not given us direct debit authorization automatically receive an invoice."

Online seminar management


The Kreuzbund offers all members appropriate events. These include, for example, seminars, meetings of delegates and workshops for volunteers who want to train as group leaders. There are also different seminars specifically for women, men, couples or seniors. "Registrations for the seminars are currently being made via the group leaders, but should also be made via the Online seminar management from GRÜN eVEWA to be digitized” states men as a short-term goal for the future.
