Aachen, November 26, 2019. The  Christmas singing at the Tivoli in Aachen has become a tradition. For the seventh time, thousands of people will come to the Tivoli in Aachen on the 4th Sunday of Advent and sing contemplative Christmas carols together. Also this year supports the GRÜN Software AG the event as a sponsor, where a new attendance record is expected.

The joy of people in singing and a stadium shrouded in the light of thousands of candles will cause great emotions at the Tivoli in Aachen this year. On December 22nd, 2019, the 4th Sunday in Advent, visitors will sing Christian Christmas carols, German folk songs or Alemannia fan chants together. Over 23.000 tickets and almost all of the seats have already been allocated, so the organizers who Working Group of Christian Churches (ACK) and the Alemannia Fan-IG, are again expecting a new visitor record.

The program with festive Christmas carols and Alemannia chants is accompanied on stage by the gospel choir of Gospel House International Chapel, the children's and youth choir St. Katharina Aachen-Forst and the Aachen veteran Jupp Ebert with his goosebumps song “You never walk alleg”. The singers will again be accompanied musically by the Instrumental association Richterichwho was there at the first Christmas singing. The Kleine Freiheit 77 children's orchestra will be on stage for the first time. The audience will be supported vocally this year by eleven amateur choirs, which are distributed among the stands.

The focus is therefore on the Christian message of Christmas, ”said Siegmar Müller, pastor of the Free Evangelical Congregation and in 2013 initiator of the Christmas singing at Tivoli.
