The founder and CEO of the Aachener GRÜN group, Dr. Oliver Grün, also President of Federal Association of IT SMEs eV, became Economics Senator hc des Federal Economic Senate in the BVMW appointed. In its laudatory speech, the Federal Association of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses (BVMW) recognized Grün's exemplary services to medium-sized companies and his outstanding entrepreneurial achievements. The award was presented by Christoph Ahlhaus, Secretary General of the Federal Economic Senate and former Mayor of Hamburg.
The GRÜN GROUP today includes thirteen independent companies that support the digitization of the economy with software, services and space. With around 350 employees, 4.000 software installations and over 15.000 square meters of commercial space, all companies in the entrepreneur-managed GRÜN-Verbund the goal of digitization to make the world better, safer and healthier. The group of companies is in a strong growth phase of constantly more than 20% over several years with at the same time sustainable economic results and thus belongs to the category of "scale-up" companies.
